Avinash Kaushik: Bio

Avinash Kaushik is the Digital Marketing Evangelist for Google, and author of the best selling books Web Analytics: An Hour A Day and Web Analytics 2.0. He is also the Co-Founder of Market Motive, the provider of the industry's most comprehensive training online.

Through his blog, Occam's Razor, books, and massively popular newsletter, The Marketing – Analytics Intersect, Avinash has become recognized as an authoritative voice on how executive teams can leverage innovative digital strategies to outsmart their competitors and achieve superior financial results.

Avinash has passionately advocated for a smarter balance between faith and data. In service of that goal he has pushed the industry to use a broader set of data – own, competitive, qualitative, quantitative – along with new applications of classic statistical models that form the foundation of data science. Over the last couple years, he has lead and contributed to application of machine learning algorithms to speed up insights generation and automate decision making.
